The Ice Makes the Drink🧊
Our Ice series rolls on, showcasing how the right ice can completely elevate your drink offering.
We’ve partnered with TV’s Andy Clarke bring you four exclusive recipes each designed to highlight a different style of ice cube produced by our ice machines.
Introducing our third drink in the series: the Café Shakerato☕
A refreshing, cold coffee-based serve that’s perfect for cafés, coffee shops, and delis looking to offer something a little different during the warmer months.
Ingredients:
Standard ice cubes
1 double shot of espresso
2 teaspoons agave nectar
Lemon
Method:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with standard ice cubes.
2. Pour the double shot of room-temperature espresso over the ice.
3. Add two teaspoons of agave nectar into the shaker.
4. Grate a small amount of fresh lemon zest directly into the mix.
5. Seal the shaker and shake hard for about 30 seconds. This long shake is crucial to build up a thick, frothy crema.
6. Strain the mixture directly into an espresso glass. Do not serve it over ice.
7. Finish with an extra grating of fresh lemon zest on top of the foam.
Smooth, chilled, and beautifully presented because the right ice doesn’t just cool your drink, it transforms it.
