The Group delivers a one-stop, combined approach via 3 divisions: Testing, Inspection & Certification, Rentals, and Manufacturing. Launched in 2010 by James Gregg and Dave Acton, Motive is a trusted partner to clients working with leading operators worldwide. Motive Offshore Group comprises three divisions:

• MOTIVE RENTALS: marine/lifting/cable handling/deployment equipment, multi-disciplined personnel

• MOTIVE ENGINEERING: bespoke design/fabrication, vessel services, equipment refurbishment/maintenance

• MOTIVE CERTIFICATION & INSPECTION: umbilical testing, hose integrity management, wire rope management,

Rapid mobilisation to keep operations moving.

Motive was called on to provide a 15Te tensioner, complete with control cabin, HPU, and personnel, onboard a client's vessel to support ongoing cable-lay activities.

With a short turnaround, our team moved quickly to bring the equipment and personnel together, coordinating the mobilisation safely and efficiently while minimising downtime and getting the cable-lay activities back underway as quickly as possible.

A great team effort from everyone involved, working together to prepare, mobilise, and safely bring the equipment and personnel on board. It was a strong example of our ability to respond quickly and deliver when time is critical.

💚 Last week Motive hosted our Macmillan coffee mornings, raising £534 for this fantastic charity.

Our bakers all did us proud with a huge feast of goodies, but special mention to our star baker winners Gwen Findlay with her old-school cake, Natalia Z. with chocolate cookies, brownies, and apple crumble, and Sarah Macklin with her Kinder traybake.

Thank you to our Team Motive Champions Ryan, Hannah, Rebecca and Sarah for organising the events, and to everyone who baked, kindly donated, and showed up to support. Well done all - outstanding!

Special thank you to Maddie Gillan from Macmillan, who joined our Westhill team. It was lovely to meet you, and we hope you enjoyed the coffee morning as much as we did!
