We're launching two new XTR tiltrotator models and introduce our patented SuperProp hydraulics at Svenska Maskinmässan 🦾💚

Svenska Maskinmässan takes place June 4–6 at Solvalla in Stockholm and is Sweden’s largest construction equipment exhibition.

At our stand N:22, you can see the XTR7 and the XTR13 tiltrotator for the first time, building on the launch of the XTR10 at Conexpo in Las Vegas in March.

Together with the already launched XTR2, XTR15, XTR20 and XTR23, we will be showing all seven XTR models at the fair.

It will also be the first time we officially present SuperProp, a new patented hydraulic technology developed for the XTR series.

SuperProp enables all tiltrotator functions, tilt, rotation, gripper, and auxiliary circuit, to work independently of each other.
The system can deliver full flow to tools while maintaining full tiltrotator performance, making it possible to operate powered work tools efficiently without compromising tiltrotator control.

Together with the XTR tiltrotator hardware and the QuantumConnect control system platform, SuperProp completes the technology foundation for Steelwrist’s third-generation tiltrotators.

SuperProp will be available during the third quarter of 2026 from the XTR10 to XTR23 tiltrotator models.

Compaction tips for the weekend 🦾

Slope compaction becomes a lot smoother when you can keep steady movements and avoid constantly repositioning the excavator.

That’s where a compactor paired with a tiltrotator really proves its value. It creates a safer workflow by reducing the need for manual compactors and operators working on the ground.

✔ Use smooth, continuous movements for an even surface
✔ Pressing harder does not improve compaction results
✔ To clean the compactor, simply tilt the plate and activate vibration

Effective compaction is more about vibration than brute force.

The excavator is a Kobelco SK58SRX with a Steelwrist X07 tiltrotator.

We have been recognized as one of Sweden’s Best Managed Companies for the seventh consecutive year and we have now reached the Platinum level of the program.

Sweden’s Best Managed Companies is a yearly quality award recognizing well-managed, privately owned Swedish companies. The Swedish program was launched in 2018, with the first awards presented in 2019, and is part of Deloitte’s global Best Managed Companies program, originally founded in Canada in 1993.

The recognition in Sweden is sponsored by Deloitte in partnership with Swedbank.

Companies are evaluated based on four key areas: strategy, capability and innovation, corporate culture and engagement, as well as governance and financial performance. Companies that receive the recognition for several consecutive years can progress to Gold and Platinum level, with Platinum awarded after seven consecutive years.

We had some great conversations, plenty of great questions, and it was brilliant to see such strong interest throughout the show.

Early XTR20 adopter 🔥

Rens is a Steelwrist ambassador in the Netherlands, working primarily with construction pits, paving preparation, and piping. As one of the first users of the Steelwrist XTR20 tiltrotator, he has put it to work across a wide range of applications.

“I’m really positive about the XTR20. The handling is light and smooth, while still being very powerful in both tilt and rotation. The 3-finger gripper gives me great control, and the integrated lubrication system makes daily maintenance easier. Overall, it’s a very strong all-round tool, and I think that says a lot about Steelwrist products.”

Since adopting the XTR20, Rens has upgraded from S60 to SQ60 couplers. This allows him to connect powered work tools and detach the tiltrotator without leaving the cab, saving time and improving efficiency throughout the workday.
