Nothing like a bit of last-minute pressure to finish the week! 😅 National Grid had a lorry crush three manhole covers, and we couldn’t get to site, so we had to trust the measurements and get to work. From nailing a complex water seal to custom-profiling the steel plates for their lifting tools, it definitely made us sweat. But it’s a job well done, and the site is safe. Weekend starts now! 🍻

That is the quintessential engineering experience—the "WTF is this?" mystery projects are often the ones you end up learning the most from, even if they are a headache at the time. The variety is definitely what keeps it from getting stale, though it certainly makes for some interesting mornings.

Happy hump day to you —hope this mystery project turns out to be a fun puzzle rather than a total nightmare!
