Here’s something a bit different that we’ve been working on over the past couple of months. This is a ww2 era 1943 Austin k2 NAAFI van that we’ve built using the dimensions off an airfix 1:35 scale model. The project was a challenge from the start as it had to fit through the doors of the venue, therefore having to split down into multiple parts and be re assembled when on site. It now lives in the fusiliers museum in bury town center acting as a serving counter for the canteen on the ground floor. We always love a challenge here at hopefield fab and love seeing the finished product at the end of the job 👌👌👌
