A cheeky little Pergola installation to kill time on a sunny morning.☀️🕶️☀️
Acero Installations were called into action to install this 3x3 metre pergola with a manually operated tilting louvre roof. 3 of the legs required cutting down by different sizes to compensate for the uneven ground level and to maintain the level appearance of the Pergola. 💪

A nice little job in the spring sunshine (part ll).
Q. What do you do when you’ve got tatty old fence panels surrounding your beautifully finished garden makeover?
A. Ask the Acero Installations crew to build and install new fence panels to complete the makeover project.
That’s what happened and once again we sprung into action, ripped out 12 dilapidated panels, built timber frames in the openings and cut to size and installed the feather edge boards. Another perfectly finished job for our very happy customers and the cherry on the cake for the garden makeover 💪.

All hands on deck…ing!

A nice little job in the spring sunshine (part l). Acero Installations were called in to action to replace and extend a timber decking area using composite decking boards for a maintenance free patio area. After removing the the old, rotten, timber decking and the derelict summer house we set to work installing edging stones to level out the heavily sloping garden to get a perfect level for the new decking. After the fake lawn was expertly installed by the boys from As Good As Grass, we assembled a timber frame with support posts concreted into the ground across the full width of the garden and installed the new anthracite, composite decking boards finished off with anthracite edge trims. Another excellent job and another very happy customer 💪.

Gym…nasty!

Acero Installations were asked to take a shufty at this gymnastics centre shutter with a vintage Neco motor complete with the famously shocking Dupar limits. The motor had seized preventing the shutter opening and one of the counter balance springs had snapped inside the barrel.
We removed the old barrel assembly, endplates and motor and supplied and installed a new direct drive barrel assembly and motor complete with an internal safety brake to bring the shutter into conformance with current legislation. We also replaced the outdated control panel with an up to date digital control system. Our customer had previously been told by a different company that the full shutter would need replacing at a cost of over £4000 so they wanted a second opinion, enter Acero Installations, we assured the customer that a full new shutter wasn’t required and that we only had to replace the damaged parts for a fraction of the original quoteand the result was another happy customer 💪.

When one door closes, another one opens!

Acero Installations were called in to investigate issues with a few steel hinged security doors. None of the doors were closing properly and were difficult to lock due to the internal structure of the lock housings breaking. We re secured the lock housings and replaced the lock mechanisms in the doors and adjusted the locks to suit leaving the doors fully functional and secure. We also replaced two damaged thum turn cylinders with new to keep the doors within fire exit regulations and re-levelled a couple of the frames to give a better seal when the doors were closed. Another nice little job and another happy customer 💪

This is just between you, me and the gatepost!

Acero Installations were called in to service and repair this manual sliding gate on a vehicle showroom. This thing had some fair miles on the clock and needed some TLC to get it running smoothly. First job was to remove the car jack that somebody had wedged between the gate and frame to prevent the gate falling over. The gate was very hard to move from a standing start so we serviced the cantilever support rollers and relocated the top support bracket rollers making sure to lubricate all bearings to within an inch of their lives!! The slam post also required relocating as the original installers had managed to fit it in a different postcode. We completed the job by levelling and bolting down the mesh fence panel post which had been left swinging in the breeze. Job done and another happy customer 💪

We love our bread and butter shutter repair jobs.

Acero Installations were called in to check the operation of a car park shutter on an apartment block. Damage was found to the top section of the curtain resulting in the shutter being very noisy when operated. As there was no sliding room to separate the curtain the only way to carry out the repair was to remove the lot. Once the curtain was on the deck we stripped out the damaged components and replaced them with new, then refit the curtain, canopy and guides and tested the shutter. While on site we also installed a lockable chain keep to prevent unauthorised use of the emergency handchain toggle device.

Getting in a bit of Tetris practice in the rain!
This was a real blockbuster of a job. Reinstating the block paving after the installation of a new steel framed and colour coded formed sheet metal archway over the entrance to a car showroom. Once again Acero Installations rose to the task despite the adverse weather conditions 💪.
