Hi Guys,
Here’s a recent job of a hydraulic ram that came in for repair, we replaced the shaft and manufactured a new bronze bush for the eye.

If you have a hydraulic ram big or small that is leaking and has seen better days don’t hesitate to bring it in, from replacing the seals to manufacturing brand new components our expert team is always happy to help.

It’s been a busy few weeks and we need to mention some work anniversaries 💙

Firstly to Louie, Happy 8 Years at Playfoot Engineering! Louie isn’t a cake lover, he does love a coke and pot noodle though 😆

Secondly to Turbo, Happy 3 Year Work Anniversary! Turbo does like cake, so I made him a chocolate cake topped with as much chocolate as I could use 😬

Both luckily avoided photos this year, they will be pleased about that 🤣
Thanks for all the hard work lads, much appreciated 🫶🏼

Hi Guys,

Here’s a little snippet of a job that our machine shop did recently.

An old cast bearing housing had failed and we were set the task of making a complete new one from scratch out of mild steel.

We’ve added a few before and after photos and a couple of pictures of the set up stages in between.

If you require and machining or have any engineering questions our skilled team are always more than happy to help.
