Mouse Electrocuted

Ever wondered why mi
Ever heard tiny feet in your loft !! Usually a mouse chewing through your cable but Still lives ⚡️

A mouse usually chews one insulated conductor at a time. To be electrocuted, current needs a complete path—such as touching live and neutral/earth together, or live while properly grounded.

Their dry fur and paws also provide some insulation, so they can expose a live wire without completing the circuit. But mice do sometimes get electrocuted or badly burned, and damaged cables can later arc, trip the RCD/MCB, or start a fire.

Due to the ridiculous insurance quotes for adding apprentices and multiple electricians to our company vans—and all the rules surrounding who can drive them—we’ve decided it’s time for a rethink.

So, this is the future of Rapid Electrical: our brand-new electric response bikes! 😂

Perfect for call-outs, testing, fault-finding and carrying everything needed for all types of electrical work.

There’s only one small problem: Eddie, our new first-year apprentice, needs to travel with Liam. So, if anyone has a motorbike sidecar for sale, with roof rack please get in touch!

Road works ( get me a shot gun)

You might think I’m moaning, but the constant roadworks, diversions and delays are having a serious impact on small local businesses. We’re losing valuable working hours just trying to get from one customer to the next.

Blackpool Council ( obviously a man who plans the time and dates of these routes and road works) needs to understand that this isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s costing local businesses time and money. At the moment, it feels like they’re slowly destroying the town they’re supposed to be supporting.

It’s an absolute joke.
