Our Story
EPSL Educational Printing has been providing quality exercise books and educational resources to millions of children for over 40 years. We invest in the best people, equipment and materials to ensure every single item that leaves our state-of-the-art production facility meets and exceeds the expectations of our customers. EPSL Educational Printing is passionate about helping teaching professionals by providing them with the resources they need, on time, every time. ur success is a result of our long-standing expertise and the fact that we take the time to understand the needs of individual customers, providing a responsive and cost-effective solution. We produce an extensive range of high-quality educational material including exercise books, planners, reports and diaries, in various sizes, colours and formats, as well as personalised and bespoke designs to complement your school. The company was founded in Blackburn by Fred Henry Pickering in 1975. Fred left his job in the teaching profession to follow his dream of making his mark in the world of business. From a modest start printing tickets for local shows and concerts, it wasn’t long before Fred found himself back in the education arena. His decision to expand into producing and printing quality exercise books, and later on adding other educational resources, was the first step to the business becoming the success it is today. Fred was succeeded by his son David in 1999, who still runs the business in its hometown of Blackburn.
