Hamilton Ross Group's Pink Tractor Charity Auction Raises £7614 for Breast Cancer Now
Hamilton Ross Group is delighted to announce that its 10 Pink Tractors in 10 Days charity auction has raised an outstanding £7614 in donations and pledges for Breast Cancer Now, following an exceptional commitment from the company's Chairman and Managing Director to personally match the entire amount raised.
Running from 3 - 12 October, the campaign saw ten Pink October Limited Edition Massey Ferguson 5S.125 scale models auctioned over ten consecutive days.
All ten models were donated by Hamilton Ross Group, with 100% of every successful winning bid going towards Breast Cancer Now.
The campaign was the brainchild of our Group Parts Manager, Tommy Smith, who came up with the fundraising idea and arranged for the pink tractors to be sourced from Massey Ferguson.
The auction received a fantastic response, attracting bids from across the UK and even as far afield as the United States.

Generous Support from Our Additional Donors
Alongside the auction proceeds, we were fortunate to receive further donations from:
Marc Robb, NFU Mutual

Massey Ferguson UK
We would particularly like to recognise Massey Ferguson UK for its generous additional donation and support of the campaign. Their contribution played an important part in helping us achieve such a positive fundraising result.
Together, the auction proceeds and additional donations raised an impressive £3807.
An Exceptional Gesture from Eric and Jamie Gardiner
Eric Gardiner, Chairman of Hamilton Ross Group, and Jamie Gardiner, the company’s Managing Director, have personally pledged to match the entire £3807 raised through the campaign.
Their decision to contribute an additional £3807 has doubled the fundraising total to an outstanding £7614 for Breast Cancer Now.
We are extremely grateful to Eric and Jamie for their remarkable generosity and personal commitment to supporting such an important cause.
This announcement comes on 13 October, Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
Earlier in the campaign, Breast Cancer Now shared that the money raised through the first two auctions alone could pay for five people to attend its Living with Secondary Breast Cancer group sessions, providing expert information and peer support to people living with incurable secondary breast cancer.
It is a powerful reminder of the difference that fundraising initiatives like this can help make.
A Heartfelt Thank You
Thank you to all our successful bidders, additional donors and everyone who helped share and support the campaign.
Special recognition goes to Tommy Smith, whose original idea, dedication and organisation made the entire initiative possible, Massey Ferguson UK for its generous support and Eric and Jamie Gardiner for personally matching the full amount raised.
The fundraising cheque will be formally presented to Breast Cancer Now in the coming weeks, with photographs from the presentation to follow.
