Our new throttle pedal overlay looms provide a direct replacement wiring route between the throttle pedal and ECU, bypassing damaged or unreliable sections of the original engine loom.

Available for:

✅ Discovery 2 TD5
✅ 10P and 15P throttle systems
✅ Plug-and-play installation
✅ No need to replace the complete engine loom

A faulty throttle loom can cause intermittent or complete loss of throttle response, hesitation, reduced power, limp mode and recurring throttle pedal fault codes.

Ideal for repairing existing wiring faults, or when fitting a 15P engine into a Discovery 2 that was originally fitted with a 10P engine.

Designed to bypass damaged, corroded or unreliable crank sensor wiring without replacing the complete engine loom.

A faulty crank sensor loom can cause intermittent non-starting, unexpected cutting out, loss of crank signal or faults that return even after replacing the sensor.

The BRCT overlay loom provides a new direct connection between the crank sensor and ECU, making it ideal for both diagnosis and permanent repair.

Our 2 metre and 3 metre TD5 ECU wiring loom extensions are now back in stock and ready for immediate dispatch.

Designed to relocate the ECU away from vulnerable factory mounting positions, helping protect it from water damage during wading, heavy rain and off-road use.

BRCT was created to solve real-world weaknesses in TD5 platforms.

On Discovery 2 models, the ECU sits behind the headlight where it can quickly become saturated during heavy rain or deep wading. On Defender models, it sits low inside the seat box under the driver’s seat — another vulnerable location when water enters the cabin.

Relocating the ECU higher inside the vehicle significantly reduces the risk of costly failure.

Our TD5 ECU relocation loom is designed specifically for this purpose — practical, reliable, and built for demanding off-road use.
