Championship golf courses, playable from a garden outbuilding near Ware.

That’s the reality being built right now with a fully immersive home golf simulator installation, complete with precision tracking sensors, tour-grade projection, and acoustic treatment engineered to recreate the sound and feel of playing on the world’s best courses.

This bespoke residential AV project proves golf simulator technology isn’t just for commercial venues anymore. Every element, from screen calibration to sound dampening, is being tailored to the space for a realistic, high-performance experience indoors, whatever the weather outside.

Bigger isn't always better when it comes to display technology.

Too small, and people at the back of the room struggle to see the detail. Too large for the space, and the screen can dominate the room without actually improving the viewing experience.

Getting it right comes down to more than wall space. Viewing distance, room layout, ambient light and the type of content being displayed all play a part.

Whether it's a meeting room, lecture space or venue, the display should be specified around how the space will actually be used.

The right screen, in the right space, makes all the difference.

Good speakers can still sound bad. Commercial AV performance isn't just about hardware, it's about how a space is designed around it.

Hard surfaces, high ceilings and open-plan layouts create reflections, echo and uneven sound coverage across a room. That's why acoustics need to be engineered, factoring in reverberation time, reflective surfaces, speaker positioning and how a space will actually be used day to day.

AV should be designed alongside the fit-out, not added once a space is finished. Early acoustic planning leads to cleaner installs, better coverage and more consistent performance throughout a venue.

And it's not finished until confidence is there. Training and handover ensure a team understands how to use a system properly, so meetings and events start smoothly every time.

Something spooky is brewing at The Bier Keller. 🎃🍺

The Bier Keller in London Bridge is getting a full audio system, designed, supplied, and installed across every zone of the venue: the Bar, TV Area, Mini Golf, Go Kart Area, and Private Hire Area.

No ghosts in this machine, just clean signal and zero dead spots. Multi-zone hospitality venues like this need audio that works as hard as the space does: consistent coverage, reliable control, and no eerie silences between areas built for very different atmospheres. The in-house engineering team is on site this week bringing it all together.

Better technology doesn't require a bigger budget. It requires the right approach.

Access to smart technology has changed. Cloud-based platforms, intelligent monitoring, modular systems and scalable solutions mean there are more ways to improve operations without investing in everything at once.

The key is choosing technology around actual need, and making sure it can grow from there.
