What a day at the 2026 IAAF Five-a-Side Tournament ⚽

Bringing together businesses from across the aftermarket, the event was a brilliant mix of football, networking, and healthy competition.

This year, ELTA teamed up with Factor Sales to form the Factor Sales x ELTA squad, with Craig O'Neil and Alex Stirling joined by Tom Henman, Shevket Halil Shevket, Izzy Shalaan, and Sebastian De Pedro, under the management of Tim Brotherton.

We’re proud to say the team finished the day as Europa Cup winners 🏆

A big congratulations as well to the “LKQ Legends” team, crowned overall 2026 tournament champions after a fantastic performance throughout the day.

Events like this show what makes the independent aftermarket so strong; great people, strong relationships, and businesses coming together to champion the industry.

Thanks to the IAAF for organising another excellent tournament, and to everyone who took part and supported the event.

We’ve recently launched a new section on our website: Insights.

This isn’t a news feed, and it isn’t a place for product announcements. It’s a space for considered thinking around the automotive aftermarket, and the wider challenges and changes shaping it.

At ELTA, much of what we do is focused on the practical detail. Product development, technical support, and keeping pace with a fast-moving industry. But there’s also value in stepping back from that and looking at the bigger picture.

Insights is where we’ll do that.

It will cover topics such as changes in vehicle technology, the realities faced in workshops, and how the aftermarket is continuing to evolve. Some pieces will be technical, others more reflective. All will be grounded in real industry experience.

The aim is not to add noise, but to offer perspective. To share thinking that sits behind the products and decisions, rather than just the outcomes.

This is a long-term space for us. It will develop over time as the industry does, and as our understanding of it continues to grow.

We are pleased to be taking part in this year’s Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) Five-a-Side Tournament, which returns on Thursday 21st May.

Hosted at the iconic The Hawthorns, home of West Bromwich Albion F.C. It brings together businesses from across the aftermarket for a full day of football, competition, and informal networking.

This year, ELTA will be joining forces with Factor Sales to form a combined team, Factor Sales x ELTA. It’s a good opportunity to connect off the pitch as well as on it, while sharing a bit of healthy competition.

Representing ELTA on the day will be Sales Director Craig O'Neil and Quality Co-ordinator Alex Stirling. Both will be taking to the pitch in what is expected to be a well-supported event within the industry calendar.

We’ve recently taken on a new warehouse operative… and safe to say, he’s a little different.

Meet Grogu.

Small in size, big on presence, and we’re still trying to work out how he’s moving stock without touching it…

Pallets seem to glide into place. Pick times are… mysteriously fast. And every now and then, someone swears they’ve seen a box float clean off the racking.

We didn’t ask too many questions at the interview stage but in hindsight, “special skills” might have been undersold.

Keeps quiet, gets on with it, eats anything not nailed down. But to be fair, he gets the job done and doesn’t seem to feel the pressure.
