Throwback to another fantastic season of Panto at The Wolverhampton Grand theatre.
In partnership with ArranAzz Sound Equipment Hire, we delivered a full sound reinforcement package tailored specifically to the production.
d&b audiotechnik V-Series point-source systems were deployed on each level to deliver the required impact, supported by E8 & E6 cabinets for consistent coverage throughout the auditorium. Low-end was looked after by d&b V-SUBs and a central hang of 8x d&b T10 line-array boxes provided exceptional vocal clarity. Stage foldback was taken care of by 4-rows of Y7P/E8’s.
The cast were equipped with DPA Microphones 4466 headsets across 22 channels of our Sennheiser EW-DX radio mic stock. The finale megamix also utilised 3x Shure AD2 Axient Digital handhelds providing a high-energy ‘rock-n’-roll’ vibe. All connected directly into the redundant Dante network.
Accompanying the in-house Yamaha Commercial Audio Europe DM7 console we supplied a Fourier Transform Engine running outboard processing including Soothe Live and a selection of plugins from Waves Audio.
Playback was looked after by a redundant pair of high-spec QLab Mac Minis, triggering over 1500 cues per-show with flawless accuracy. Show control was via a selection of Orbital Sound Nemesis Research OSC go buttons.
Our Netgear AV-Line based fibre network provided redundant 10Gb links between key locations, enabling our low-latency BluStream IP video system to distribute CCTV feeds across the venue seamlessly.
