Choosing a new forklift usually comes down to the same checklist. Load capacity. Lift height. Fuel type. Tyres to suit the floor.
The one thing that list tends to leave off: where does the truck actually work, and who's sitting in it all day?
If it spends its shifts outdoors, in a yard, on a dock or in a cold store, a standard open machine leaves the operator in the weather. Cold, wet and dust, for the whole shift. That turns into slower work, more mistakes, and a driver who dreads the rota.
Operator protection belongs on the spec sheet, not bolte on after the first hard winter. The moment to sort the cab is while you're still choosing the truck.
