A gear reducer from a vevor ice cream machine had just come into the workshop for a new rebuild, as neglect has caused the helical gears and bearings to seize and break. The gear reducer was stripped apart and cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner. Old bearings removed and new bearings fitted, and old oil seals removed and new oil seals fitted aswell. Old helical gears were removed as well, and new gears were 3D printed in nylon. New gasket fitted and gear reducer reassembled. Cyclone blades fitted and assembly tested, then refitted back into the ice cream machine.
