Bolt extraction carried out today. The weld wernt quite centre on the broken bolt 🤦🏻‍♂️, but we still got the result — the broken bolt has now been successfully removed and thread has been restored.

Sunday call-out to a customer who had attempted to replace a diesel injector, but unfortunately the injector bolt had snapped inside the cylinder head. We were able to extract the broken bolt, repair the thread, and get everything back together. Another happy customer back on the road and ready to return to work. 👨🏻‍🏭

Main dealer assistance this morning to remove a broken bolt from inside the gearbox casing. Due to the bolt’s location and the gearbox still being installed in the vehicle, access was extremely tight. We were able to carefully drill out and extract the broken bolt without damaging the threads. Success! 😅

4:00 AM start this morning to attend a bus garage and assist with the removal of this damaged nut.

Unfortunately, the nut had seized and had already broken the specialist removal socket used to loosen it. With a torque setting of 1200 Nm, we knew this wasn’t going to be an easy job.

After some careful work, we were able to cut the nut open and remove it without causing any damage to the original threads.

Job completed successfully. ✅👍🏻
