Quick tip ๐Ÿ“

Starting a new job. Why not staple the plans to a wall to keep referencing.

Much easier than checking your phone or trying to find a folder.

Also mounting a few things on walls can't make them easier to grab ๐Ÿ‘

It's official ๐Ÿ‘€

I actually really like the impact driver I've been using it on and off for the last few months now.

It was weirdly a tool I never really saw the point of due to how aggressive it was.

However if treated with respect its a wicked bit of kit.

Amazing for removing rusted screws and bolts nothing compares.

Also can be used for plugs if the walls are not too hard, however I do normally opt for the sds.

My main gripe with it is using it for installing screws for back boxes / cleats etc.. Its very VERY easy to go way to hard on the screw head or material your going into, it's also hard to really know how much tension the screw has going into said material.

What I would call a 1/4 inch screw gun is much more suitable for sensitive materials.

This being said I do love it its light, fast and fun.

After running my 6mm sds down to what must of been almost to a 5mm it sheared the head on tightening.

Fortunately there was just enough thread left to get some mole grips on it.

Snapped head ๐Ÿ’ฅ

How do you deal with this situation?

This happened as I had left my 6mm sds bit in service just a bit to long. The CSA does reduce down over time. Something I should know better on.

On this one I'll be hopefully getting some mole grips on and if not it's a grind off and Redrill.

Keep your drill bits / blades fresh can save you situations like this ๐Ÿค”

Lock off ๐Ÿ”

Last week we had been working at an active engineering factory.

The chances of the circuit be turned on by an eager engineer would be very high!

It's not something I use as much as I should, the extra safety that comes by doing this, kind of makes it a no brainer.

Looking forward to locking off alot more in the future.

If you haven't got a kit grab one it might save your life ๐Ÿ‘

Nothing wrong with a little extra safety โšก

Tempory tree lights ๐ŸŒด

I put these together at my house, last year with some old fairly lights I had in the loft.

I loved how it looked so much, I'm going to be replacing them for professional grade fairly lights ready for the summer.

Looking forward to sharing the before and after ๐Ÿ˜
