With a decent amount of rainfall in recent weeks, spring barley crops in the north of the UK are – for the most part – progressing nicely 🌧️

In the south, however, it’s a totally different story… 🥵

There have been plenty of conversations this season around reduced seed rates, with many growers nervous about drilling fewer kilos per hectare, but, as Agrochemical & Technical Director David Cairns explains, the crops are compensating well with strong tillering already visible 🌱
