Archie the cat spent the day with us, and I’m pleased to report that he immediately took over operations, inspected every desk, and contributed absolutely no measurable productivity.

He attended meetings with the confidence of a senior director, ignored all deadlines, and somehow still became everyone’s favourite team member.

Work Experience at Future BIM

Last week we welcomed Jarvis to Future BIM for his work experience placement.

Jarvis is 14 years old and attends King John School, where he is currently studying Business, Engineering, History, Maths, English and Science.
During his time with us, Jarvis is gaining an insight into how a modern digital construction company operates, seeing how BIM technology supports the design and coordination of major building projects.

Jarvis has a strong interest in accounting and hopes to pursue a career in this field in the future.

It’s always positive to support young people who are starting to think about their future careers, and we wish Jarvis the best with his studies.

Future BIM – Valentine’s Team Lunch ❤️

Yesterday we stepped away from drawings, coordination calls and deadlines for an hour to recognise the people who keep Future BIM moving every single day.

We organised a Valentine’s team lunch at the office — pizza, Valentine’s bingo, and a raffle — simple things, but done with purpose.
The aim wasn’t just food and games. It was appreciation.

Our team puts in serious effort day in, day out:
• Tight coordination deadlines
• Complex MEP modelling challenges
• Client issue resolution
• Scan-to-BIM delivery pressures
• Long hours when projects demand it

Moments like this matter. They strengthen culture, improve collaboration, and remind everyone that we value the work being done behind the scenes.
Strong projects are built by strong teams.
