Our company was formed in 1996 By Company Director Mr David Hughes Mr Hughes worked in South Africa in the early 1980,s working in Power station industry and gold mining , it was in the mines where he discovered a lot of the equipment used in mining was DC voltage operated this equipent required DC motors and thus Carbon Brushes ( a lot of them ) on returning to Northern Ireland in I986 he formed

and electric motor rewind company (Star Delta Electrical ) Then in 1996 SD Carbons Ltd the machinery required was purchased from Austria where Mr Hughes spent considerable time training on the equipment, SD Carbons is now the only company in Ireland in this field and now deals in Many countries throughout the world , SD Carbons purchases it Carbon in Germany and is of the highest quality.
