Weโ€™d like to let our valued customers know about a small change here at the garage. Due to staff shortages, weโ€™ll be focusing our workshop time on looking after our own fleet of vehicles and will not be taking on general public bookings for the time being

Unfortunately our mobiles only work through WiFi calling, so without broadband, theyโ€™re not working either. Which leaves us in the dark

If you need us, please try the phone in case they start working again. If not, you might need to pop in to get us

๐ŸššHGV MECHANIC POSITION AVAILABLE๐Ÿš›

We currently looking for an experienced HGV mechanic to join our team in our modern workshop and MOT centre.

Duties and responsibilities to include -
โ€ข Working primarily on our own fleet of modern
HGV commercial vehicles and machinery
โ€ข Helping with customers cars, vans etc in the
garage as and when required
โ€ข Preparing HGVs for MOT
โ€ข Carrying out HGV safety inspections and keeping
these up to date
โ€ข Completing necessary paperwork for each job
eg. job cards, inspection sheets, parts lists etc

Skills required -
โ€ข HGV experience necessary
โ€ข Ability to work using own initiative & as part of a
team
โ€ข Operating diagnostic computer
โ€ข Class 1 or 2 driving licence advantageous
โ€ข MOT tester (class I, II, IV & VII) advantageous

General info -
โ€ข Negotiable rate of pay depending on skills &
experience
โ€ข Hours are Monday - Friday 0800 - 1800 &
Saturday 0900 - 1500
โ€ข Workplace pension
โ€ข Initial 3 month trial with a view of becoming
permanent to the right candidate
