Important health information: Covid-19 Update

Covid-19 is affecting everyone but we are continuing to service our customers. In line with government guidelines we are once again going back to offering emergency and essential maintenance service only.
As Covid-19 continues to affect the UK, Rene Plumbing & Heating has implemented the following extra measures to reduce risk.

-Prior to any attendance, our team will check if there are knowledge of symptoms or illness at the site address. If you a shielding, let us know.
-All our engineers will call prior to attendance to offer guidance and reassurance on how they will approach the work in the property. They will not attend unless they speak to the person meeting them.
-The engineers will use appropriate PPE for the situation and strictly keep 2m distance from you in all situations where possible. We ask you to wear a mask as well when the 2m distance is not possible.
-Sanitation is vitally important to protect both the engineer and the property occupiers, so all our engineers will disinfect all hard surfaces they’ve touched.
-We no longer ask for a customer signature to ensure social distancing is adhered to.

We recognise that current events are unsettling, but rest assured, Rene Plumbing & Heating is here for your essential central heating, plumbing and drainage needs in these unprecedented times.

COVID-19 Update:

We have been following Government guidance very closely in order to protect the health of our customers, engineers and colleagues against COVID-19.
While we are classified as an essential business, the safety of our people, our customers and the communities we serve will always be our number one priority. To support this we have chosen to carry out only essential and emergency work at this time. This means that we are postponing all our gas appliance servicing, non-essential upgrades, dripping/stiff taps etc. to a later date.

When booking in an emergency we will ask you questions about your health, advise you about social distancing and the measures we are taking to ensure everyone stays safe. Don't hesitate to ask us any questions you may have.

As the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, we wanted to keep you informed of what actions we are taking to ensure the wellbeing of our customers and colleagues.

At the moment we are open for all maintenance, repair and emergency business!
We have advised all engineers to take additional precautions to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our customers whose properties they'll visit. All our engineers carry and use hand sanitizer as well as anti-bacterial wipes and we are continually reviewing our practice in accordance with the PHE in case further measures are necessary.
