*Update* We found her! 🥰 Rachel Elizabeth Antcliff huge shout out for going above and beyond and being a real Local HERO today!

Today at around 12:15pm a little Black & White Terrier was spotted running loose down Beacon Hill in Newark.

Kerry the Store Manager from our Newark Store would like to find the lovely Lady who caught the loose dog because we want to say a BIG THANKYOU!

Kerry on her way home for lunch quickly turned around to go and help and then spotted the distressed owner some distance away running after the dog. She then stopped and spoke to the lady, who by this time had caught the dog and sadly been bitten for her troubles.

Because that lady cared enough to put herself in harms way and save a strangers dog from a near certain RTC we’d like to offer her own dog a gift from us as a little thank you for being a local HERO today!

Please pop into the Store and make yourself known, we do hope your hand isn’t too sore.

What an absolute team we had today to take part in the Newark Dragon Boat race. Thank you to everyone that rowed our boat for us, the relatives and friends that cheered for us and the support that we received from the other teams taking part. We are so proud that we got through to the semi finals and out off 39 teams participating we came 4th!!

We are proud to be taking part in this years dragon boat race for two amazing local charities and . I know you may already have donated to other local teams but please if you are able dig deep to support these charities. They rely on donations to be able to provide there care for our community.

If you fancy a laugh come and cheer us on at 10am Sunday 15th September. Lots of entertainment for all the family 🐉 🚤
