A racer who has been making headlines recently for #1 qualifiers in Comp Eliminator, smashing personal indices and event wins in FWD competition is Ahmed Jamshiad AKA Jammin from Big Man Ting Performance. Over the winter we upgraded the car to an SFI spec 25.1 safety cell, meaning there is no ET limit on the car. The safety cell is built within the confines of the interior, with the floor structure underneath the floor pan of the car. This was an ideal solution as Jammin likes to use the original pedal box and steering column support which suits his driving style. We extended the cage into the original suspension mounting points, tied into the engine mounting points (and strengthened the engine mounts), and clearanced the body shell for the big slick tyres. We also integrated our in house designed parachute mount kit, our parachute release kit, constructed a new rear wing and side skirts for the car. To finish we corner weighted the car and set the wheel alignment all round.

This build shows what is possible for the new wave of stock body FWD cars, as they enter into the 7 second zone.

Well done to Jack Brewster for making huge strides in his RRC built 'Just Mustard' Pontiac Firebird, smashing his PB with a 7.00 at 194 mph. Jack runs a blown Big Block Chevy engine and Powerglide transmission in the Pontiac and competes in the Super Pro ET class.

Well done to Claude Knopf for a huge new PB of 7.53 in his RRC built 3rd gen Camaro! This car was originally a Don Hardy Pro Stock car, but Claude wanted to update the car so we built a brand new SFI 25.1 spec chassis using top spec components such as Lamb struts, Precision Racing Suspension rear dampers, HC&D rear end, WELD Racing wheels and a Racetech USA 4100 seat. This car runs a naturally aspirated Big Block Chevy engine and despite having steel roof and rear 1/4 panels the car comes in at 2300 lbs with driver. Build pics to follow...

Doorslammers 2026 at Santa Pod Raceway was a huge weekend for RRC customers! Petyo Krumov from GND Motors bought his killer BMW M4 to us just prior to the event for a roll cage, rear baulkhead installation, Racetech USA 9119 seat fitting, and a 6 point harness. The team posted a great 7.73sec @179.96MPH run and made it to the semi final in the 5-6 cylinder class. Well done Petyo and the GND Motors team!

The UK leg of the SFI tour is nearly upon us, next Tuesday the 10th March at Santa Pod Raceway. The recertifications will be held in the Bankside VIP suite, starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm.
