Over 135 years ago, our founder, Chas A. Blatchford, set out with a clear mission: to make mobility possible for people with limb differences and limb loss.

That mission still drives us today.

To celebrate our story, we’re proud to share a film that reflects where we’ve come from, who we are, and where we’re going next.

From our founding in 1890 to our world-class manufacturing site on Bilton Road, it captures the spirit of innovation that defines Blatchford and looks ahead to a future where we continue to push boundaries and improve lives through prosthetic and orthotic innovation.

Today, we’re excited to officially welcome Julian Gonzalez as a Blatchford Advocate -and celebrate his birthday at the same time. 🎉

Born with limb difference, Julian has never let limitations define him. From intense boxing training to chasing goals most people would call impossible, he continues to prove what determination, resilience, and belief can achieve.

With his Elite Blade, Julian moves with confidence as he pushes toward his next challenge in and out of the ring. We’re proud to have him representing the Blatchford community and inspiring others along the way.
