This is the same Caddy from our post on Wednesday, and this post shows what else was done to the van while we had it here.

While we had the van in the workshop for the 2.0 CR conversion, we also gave it some interior upgrades which were a Touran dash upgrade, steering wheel, carpets & electric windows with Touran door cards.

The new upgrade that we haven't done to a customer Caddy until this one is the retro-fitting of air conditioning.

This is another upgrade that we are offering out to customers moving forward both whilst doing an engine conversion, and as a stand alone upgrade too.

2.0 CR170 Swap incoming!

This Caddy came in for one of our 2.0 CR170 conversions recently.

The owner of this van opted to have the DPF cleaned while we had the engine out so this shouldn't cause any problems for a while, the DPF cleaning was done by the guys at Darkside.

We also did something new on this Caddy while we had it in the workshop, which we're going to be posting more information about later this week.

Here we have a VW Caddy 2K / MK3 02S 6 Speed Gearbox Conversion Kit.

These have been put together as an upgrade for the Caddy with the following engines:

1.6 TDI - CAY Code
1.9 TDI - BJB & BLS Code
2.0 SDI - BDJ & BST code

Other than the clutch & flywheel, everything needed to do the conversion is supplied in this kit.

The 1.6 & 1.9 TDI Caddy's original clutch & flywheel can be used with this kit. Only the 2.0 SDI needs a different clutch kit to match this.

We can also supply you with a new clutch & flywheel kit to go with this if needed.

This kit is £350 collected from our premises in Barnsley.

Next day delivery is possible to mainland UK, at a cost of £80.

We also offer the option of a fitting service at our workshop.

Got Camber?

This is a first for us, our friend Josh hit a pot hole on his way in to work and said that the car started driving different afterwards.

Once he got to work he realised why, the axle was rusted so badly that it had cracked from the impact of the pot hole.

Luckily, we had a replacement axle in stock so that was fitted along with new Powerflex bushes.

Josh confirmed that the Golf drove home much better than it drove to work.

CR170 Conversion incoming!

This Caddy was bought a while ago with the engine & gearbox missing.

It was a very clean shell with a good factory spec & it only has 87,000 miles on it so it seemed ideal for us to fit one of our CR170 engine into it.

We have been driving this around for the last week to make sure there are no issues with the van and we're happy to say that it's good to go, so in the next few days this will be going up for sale.
