We think we may have found the youngest member of the 40 Peaks training squad ⛰️❤️

Gareth Wilson was joined by his son Cooper on the final Tuesday Trek before this weekend's 40 Peaks Challenge and judging by the photo, it looks like Cooper is taking it all in his stride!

In fact, from where we're standing, Dad's energy might be the one that's starting to falter...😄

Cooper wanted to know where Dad had been heading to for the last few weeks - so now he knows first hand! You just have to scroll through the pics to see the joy on his face when he reached the summit 👏🏼📸

As the countdown continues, the excitement is building across the Group. Final preparations are being made, routes are being fine-tuned, boots are being broken in and teams are getting ready to take on one of our biggest fundraising challenges yet.

There's still time to support the cause, with donations continuing to be accepted as we make one final push towards our fundraising target 💪

Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference and it's all going to charity - a reminder that our local charity of choice is Marie Curie UK.

Our team has recently completed a number of upgrades on a local clean water site.

The project used the KSB Company Multitec and Etanorm ranges and due to the retrofit nature of the works, required bespoke installation design and fabrication of spools and spacers.

A great example of quality workmanship and knowledge sharing, with our apprentice Scott Crawford carrying out the laser alignment under the guidance of our senior engineer Darren Crawford - who just happens to be his dad! It's not every day you get to see skills and experience being passed down from one generation to the next on site 👏🏼

Well done to everyone involved in delivering a safe, efficient and high-quality installation.

That's !

The countdown to the 40 Peaks Challenge is well and truly on now ⛰️💪

Our team - Gareth Wilson, Nick Torrens, Norman McNally, Alan Patton, Ross McCune & Chris Evans - were back out getting more training miles in the legs, taking on the route from Trassey Track to Meelbeg and then onwards to Bernagh before hopefully making it home in one piece 🤣

With every walk, climb and recce, it’s all starting to feel very real now, but the team spirit is high and preparations are ramping up nicely ahead of the big weekend June 6–7.

A massive thank you as well to everyone supporting the challenge so far - whether through sponsorship, fundraising, competitions, bake sales - which we hear are kicking off tomorrow - or simply cheering on our teams on from afar 🙌

There’s still time to get behind the challenge as we head towards the big weekend - www.40peakschallenge.com

We wrapped up Mental Health Awareness Week with a fantastic Quiz & Buns event, bringing colleagues together for some fun, connection and conversation around mental wellbeing. 💚🧠

The event was a great success and a brilliant way to close out a week focused on reminding us all of the importance of looking after our mental health and supporting one another.

We know that mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health, and creating opportunities to connect, check in and support each other helps foster a positive and open workplace culture.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such an enjoyable afternoon. And remember - sometimes a simple chat, a shared laugh or asking “how are you?” can go a long way.

At Ards Rugby Club’s annual charity golf day, it became evident that some put the practice in and some don’t - but at least the weather went in our favour!⛳️

Nick Torrens and Paul Clarke were joined by some potential ringers and thankfully our scramble match looked to be in good shape!

Let’s just say no pumps were required for any water traps but (only because there weren’t any!) but a strimmer was possibly needed at times! 🤣

All in, a good day and a worthy cause, delighted to have sponsored a hole - our thanks to Ards RFC - we hope the day raised a good amount for their chosen charity!

Progress update from our intrepid 40 Peaks Challenge crew ⛰️💪

With all countries now officially sponsored (thank you Gemini Control Systems, Landia UK Ltd., Global Water Solutions Limited and Zenit Group 🙌), the least we could do was head for the hills and tackle Slieve Binnian from Carrick Little, up past the Blue Lough.

This time Gareth Wilson was joined by his daughter Katie, Alan Patton, Chris Evans, Nick Torrens & Norman McNally putting more miles in the legs ahead of June’s challenge - and with only days to go now, it’s all starting to feel very real 😅

The training’s going well, spirits are high and it’s been brilliant hearing about all the fundraising efforts happening across the Group companies with plans for inter-company competitions & challenges, bake sales and all sorts going on behind the scenes 🍰👏

So a massive thanks to all those supporting from a safe distance 🤣nearly time to put all the preparation to the test 💪⛰️

Don’t forget you can still sponsor us - all donations very welcome, we want to help charities that mean a lot to our teams - all the details are on our dedicated event website 👉40Peakschallenge.com

We are in Munich this week for IFAT!

A key focus for our team - Gareth Wilson, Peter Johnston and Trevor Shaw - is to connect with our product partners to support ongoing delivery for Northern Ireland Water frameworks and our wider client base - ensuring we remain aligned with the latest innovations and solutions available in the market.

IFAT provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen these relationships, identify new technologies and bring forward ideas that can enhance efficiency, performance and long-term value across our projects.

If you’re there, Gareth, Peter and Trevor would love to chat!

Just over 5 weeks to go to the 40 Peaks Challenge and the countdown is well and truly ON ⛰️🔥

The team has been making the most of the gorgeous weather as they continue their preparations for the 40 Peaks Challenge on June 6th & 7th.

This time Gareth Wilson, Nick Torrens & Norman McNally were joined by Ross McCune, taking on the Trassey Track to Bernagh and judging by these photos, the views were worth every step! 💪🌄

With just weeks to go, the momentum is building… and so is the support. We’re delighted to have raised £14,000 in sponsorship so far - a huge thank you to all of our generous donors for getting behind the team 👏

There’s still time to get involved - sponsor a peak or even a country (!) and support the challenge 👉 40peakschallenge.com
