From quick-fire repairs to tyre changes and intense preparation between stages, the Service Park is where the real behind-the-scenes rally action happens 👀🔧

Ballynahinch & District Motor Club extend our sincere condolences to Malcolm and the entire Johnston family circle, as well as all our friends in Rathfriland Motor Club, at this very sad time.

🏁Excitement is building

🏁🔥 The excitement is REALLY building for the Carryduff Forklift Rallye Lecale — coming to Downpatrick on 25th July! 🔥🏁

Organised by Ballynahinch & District Motor Club, this brand-new event promises a spectacular mix of top-class motorsport, family entertainment and a fantastic atmosphere right in the heart of Lecale.

Competitors will tackle:
✅ 51 competitive stage miles
✅ 138 road miles
“At the start of the day there will be a short service, then a three-stage loop, service, two stages, another service and three stages to the finish. It will give the crews a chance to keep the cars in shape and will also provide plenty of opportunity for spectators to see the cars and crews up close in Downpatrick on the day.”

This is shaping up to be a proper driver’s rally 👏

And it’s not just about the rally stages…

Downpatrick will be buzzing throughout the weekend with:
🏎 Scrutiny & trailer park at Downpatrick Racecourse
🏁 Ceremonial start in the town on Friday evening
🔧 Service area in Downpatrick town centre
🛍 Artisan market
📺 Big screen rally viewing
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A real family-friendly atmosphere

BADMC Chairman Brian Crawford said:
“We are trying to make the rally great for the competitors but also make it a family orientated day with the exciting new base in Downpatrick.”

Up to 120 crews are expected for what promises to be one of the standout events of the summer, with the rally forming a round of both the and the 🏆
