Job Title: Fitter.

Job Location: Cloughmills, Ballymena

Function: Responsible for maintaining plant machinery, attachments and recording completed work on a dedicated maintenance system.

Key Skills:

~Working mechanical knowledge of heavy plant machinery (or similar) and ancillary attachments.

~Experience of equipment, hydraulic and electrical systems.

~ Ability to organise and address technical issues effectively and safely.

~Understanding of health and safety requirements.

~Driving license.

Experience: 3 years in a similar role.

Candidate must:

~Be medically fit to carry out role.

~Hold relevant qualification / technical experience.

~Ability to work on an on-call rota.

~ Willingness to learn.

~Undergo reasonable training as directed.

Desirable: PTS card.

Railway Plant Services requires RRVO – Road Rail vehicle Operators/Excavator Operators to join our team.

Job Title – RRVO

Location – Across Northern Ireland Railway Network once training completed. First 3mths you will be based out of RPS HQ in Cloughmills Ballymena whilst completing Training.

What you will do:

· Operating plant Machinery and various attachments safely and efficiently on track.

· Ensuring adherence to safety standards and rail- specific operational requirements.

· Carry out Machinery and Attachment daily checks

· Complete Paperwork – Daily checks, site inductions etc

· Working collaboratively with your RRVC, Supervisors

· Deliver tasks to a consistently high standard.

These positions require a flexible approach to shifts. Candidates must be willing to work:

Nights
Days
Weekends

What you will need:

· Excellent communication both verbal and written

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a thorough approach to work.

· Willingness to be flexible in accordance with the business needs

· Job is dependent on the successful completion of Medical and PTS training (provided by company)

Essential:

· Clean Driving License

· Previous experience in a similar role

Desirable:

· CPCS Plant Operator (Blue) – Excavator 360 (Above 5t)

· PTS Card

· Slinger Banksman ticket

Potential for this role to grow with the company and opportunities for additional training and progression

Job Title – Yard Operative

Location – Cloughmills Ballymena

What you will do:
• Cleaning of Machines (internally & externally) and equipment effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard, workshop and storage areas
• Carry out stock checks and basic record-keeping as needed
• Complete Paperwork – Daily checks etc
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Pre Delivery inspections – Check paperwork etc (Training provided)

What you will need:
• Excellent communication both verbal and written
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and complete tasks thoroughly.
• Previous experience in a similar role. Desirable
• Willingness to be flexible in accordance with the business needs
• Experience in the operation of forklift trucks
• Ability to work under pressure
• Clean Driving License Essential
• Job is dependent on the successful completion of Medical and PTS training (provided by company)

Desirable:
Basic knowledge of machinery and ability to shunt machines in yard
• Forklift license
Potential for this role to grow with the company and opportunities for additional training and progression into RRV operating
