It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our much-valued colleague, Ivan.

Ivan was a committed and respected member of our team who will be remembered for his hard work, kindness and willingness to help others.

He made a lasting contribution to our workplace and will be greatly missed by colleagues and friends alike.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Ivan’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

🏗️ #𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 | 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱

This week we're looking back at one of the largest bridge projects Moore Concrete has supplied components for – the New Wear Bridge in Sunderland.

Our team manufactured 𝟴𝟱𝟬 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟯𝟴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀, with individual units weighing between 𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟱 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀. The project required close coordination across our engineering, design and manufacturing teams to ensure every unit met the required quality standards and delivery programme.

Spanning 𝟯𝟯𝟲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿, the landmark bridge showcases our capability to manufacture and deliver complex precast solutions for major infrastructure projects.
