We are a Family Plant Hire business, based on a farm in the Cotswolds, established in 1979. Once a machine gets to a certain age or number of hours we sell and replace with new – to keep up with customer demand. We are Davis Agri Plant.

You are welcome to trial the Excavator for a week – if you decide not to buy we will just charge a week’s plant hire instead (£300). This gives you piece of mind. Alternatively come and test for an hour or so at our farm.



This Digger has been a brilliant servant to us over the years having owned from new. It has had an oil change and new oil filter (which you can check by the colour of the oil) and all new fuel filters at 6830 Hours. The Track Motor Oils were also replaced at this Service. A New Battery was fitted on it in 2022.



It shed an Alternator belt in Sep 2023 – so a new belt was fitted. We also fitted new Top Track Rollers in 2022 along with a new set of Rubber Tracks fitted in September 2022. We also fitted new Bottom Rollers at this time – so the Undercarriage and Wear Parts are all in almost new condition. The machine has been greased and maintained regularly (during every pre hire delivery inspection) and there is very little ‘wear’ or slop in the Pins and King Post



This Digger is extremely reliable; it starts first time every time and has no oil leaks whatsoever. - Very Smooth to operate and Mechanically Sound and all in good working order.



It has the Kubota Chipped Key system – for your peace of mind – It cannot be stolen

Topsoil to Screen???

Our Topsoil Screening Buckets remove stones (20mm+) and Weeds from your soil. We ourselves have screened tonnes of the stuff at the farm and can guarantee a great result. Stones less than 20mm provide the perfect drainage and aeration for the resulting topsoil.

The larger collected stone can then be used to form tracks or hard standings for a 'Two Birds One Stone' outcome
