👋 Meet the Team – John Gardiner, Managing Director

John established Acatch in 2000 after many years in the building trade. What started as a family-run business serving the local community has grown to support customers across Ayrshire and the central belt of Scotland.

Along the way, we’ve built lasting relationships with councils, housing associations, Care & Repair, local businesses and private customers—some spanning more than 25 years! 🤝

From everyday repairs and full refurbishments to wet rooms, handrails, ramps and door widening, John takes pride in helping people live more comfortably and safely in their homes. 🏡

You’ll often find him out completing surveys, preparing quotations, meeting clients or supporting our employees and subcontractors. Customer care, quality workmanship and looking after the team remain at the heart of his work, alongside building a strong future for Acatch.

❤️ Away from the office…
John’s proudest moments include watching his family grow and achieve their goals—and becoming a Papa! He loves spending time with his wife, family and especially his grandson.

He also enjoys holidays and squeezing in as much fishing as possible—although he admits he sometimes gets dragged along shopping! 🛍️🎣😊

Give John a wave in the comments! 👋
