Join a Growing Family Business in Compressed Air Engineering
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compressor Sales Representative to join a well‑established, family‑run company based in Aylesbury. We specialise in compressed air engineering, covering everything from sales and hire to service, pipework installation, and Written Schemes of Examination (WSE).
With a loyal customer base ranging from major corporate clients to local private users, we pride ourselves on providing honest, reliable, and professional service. You’ll be joining a close‑knit team that works collaboratively to meet customer needs and deliver high‑quality solutions.
The Role
As a key member of our sales team, you will:
Respond promptly to enquiries for compressors and associated equipment
Visit customer sites to assess requirements and recommend solutions
Prepare quotations, log them accurately, and carry out follow‑ups
Support the Service team with compressor‑related enquiries (e.g., BER decisions)
Manage and nurture key accounts
Develop new business opportunities across your area
Work closely with colleagues to coordinate complex installation projects, including pipework
Assist in pricing and project preparation
Sell WSE in line with PSSR2000 (training provided if needed)
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both professionalism and technical confidence. The ideal candidate will:
Have experience selling compressed air equipment
Hold a technical background (advantageous but not essential)
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
Be able to organise and manage their own workload effectively
Uphold excellent timekeeping and customer service standards
Hold a valid UK driving licence
Be eligible to work in the UK
