Meet Jess — a key member of the Weldaway family!

Jess keeps the day-to-day operations of Weldaway running smoothly. She’s been part of the team for the past seven years, becoming even more involved over the last four.

With her friendly nature and excellent organisational skills, Jess has created a welcoming office environment, providing vital support to both the team and the business.

And of course — she makes a brilliant cup of tea! ☕️

First up — the founder and main man behind Weldaway: Dave (aka Big Dave)!

With over 20 years of experience in the welding trade, alongside being a fully trained mechanic, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to every job.

Weldaway started gaining real recognition around eight years ago when Dave took on his first unit at Millwey Industrial Estate. Since then, through his passion, hard work, and dedication, he’s built Weldaway into what it is today — a trusted name with an outstanding customer base and a reputation for 100% satisfaction.

We do love a bit of aluminium welding ☺️

Rising to the request of needing pronto… our team was tasked with a heavy duty, lightweight and transportable ramp to be made!

Using aluminium sheet and aluminium box section we achieved the specifications making it into two pieces with one side having a joining section to connect the two pieces together

Tomorrow should be a break in the rain so most of the team will be offsite installing railings/gates and painting

Today the lil main boss had his first day at secondary school 🏫

We are pleased to report all went well

Another 5 years to go and he can take on weldaway 🤣🤭 and we can retire 🤩
