FGS Agri & Habitat Regeneration are hiring a Habitat & Land Management Lead Operator.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives out on site - delivering real, practical habitat creation and land management projects that make a lasting difference.

From woodland and hedgerow creation to wildflower establishment and grassland management, you’ll be right at the heart of turning ecological plans into reality. You’ll operate a wide range of machinery, work independently and step up to lead small teams when needed - keeping projects moving and standards high.

It’s a role for someone who combines technical skill with initiative - confident on the controls, comfortable managing workloads and able to communicate with clients and stakeholders on site.

You’ll be working across a diverse mix of projects, from private estates to conservation bodies, helping shape landscapes that deliver real biodiversity gains 🌍

🚜 Harvest 2026 – Join the FGS Agri Team! 🌾

Looking for a hands-on summer role with top machinery, long hours, and a great team atmosphere?

We’re hiring now for Harvest 2026 at FGS Agri, a leading agricultural contracting business based in Kent.

💥 What’s in it for you:
• Modern kit – John Deere, JCB Fastracs, Massey Ferguson & more
• Competitive pay + plenty of hours
• En-suite accommodation (shared kitchen + BBQ area)
• Welcome pack + team BBQ to kick things off
• Regular socials throughout harvest

📅 Season runs from June to September/October

🔧 Roles & machinery opportunities:
• Baler driver – opportunity to operate our Krone 1290 HDP
• Spreading operators – running high-spec Bunning spreaders (experience preferred but not essential)
• Opportunity to run our Fastrac 4220 with a Heath chaser for the season
• Excavator drivers
• Corn cart operators
• Telehandler drivers

👨‍🔧 What we’re looking for:
• Good workshop knowledge and mechanical understanding
• Ability to maintain and look after your own machine (including ability to use a grease gun!)
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Strong team spirit – we work hard and support each other throughout the season
