☀️ Supporting a charity close to our hearts 🚁

We recently brought colleagues from across Heathcote Holdings together for our Summer BBQ, with all funds raised from the event donated to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS), a charity close to our hearts.

We’re proud to continue our support year on year and to date, have donated an amazing £31,586 to KSS.
To put that into perspective, KSS has told us that this figure could fund:
🩸 34 blood transfusions, administered directly at the scene to patients experiencing life-threatening blood loss.
OR
🚁 7 full lifesaving missions, helping KSS bring specialist emergency care directly to people when every second counts.

For those living and working in rural communities, access to emergency medical care can be particularly challenging. KSS provides a vital service across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, bringing advanced pre-hospital care directly to patients.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the BBQ and contributed.

☕🍰 Coffee, cake and a great cause!

FGS Agri and FGS Organics came together for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising funds in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

It was a great opportunity to bring colleagues together, enjoy some fantastic bakes and, most importantly, support the vital work Macmillan does for people living with cancer.
A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, helped out and joined us on the day – and a special thank you to Sam for organising another fantastic coffee morning!

Are trees reducing your crop yield? 🌳🌾

Your yield data could help identify where tree shading is affecting crop performance.
By reviewing yield maps alongside field boundaries and tree lines, lower-yielding areas can be identified and used for targeted tree management.

FGS Agri can carry out the required work using specialist equipment:
🌳 Excavator-mounted tree saw
🚜 Low ground pressure operation
♻️ Cleared vegetation chipped on site

It’s a practical example of how farm data and specialist machinery can work together, helping target work where it is needed rather than taking a blanket approach.

Speak to FGS Agri about targeted tree management for your farm.

Celebrating National Family Business Day 🎉

Heathcote Holdings began as a family business in 1985, when Trevor Heathcote started his own contracting company. More than 40 years later, while the business has grown and changed considerably, family remains at the heart of who we are.

Today, the next generation of the Heathcote family continues to play an active role in the Group, with Martin and Nathan building on what their father started.

But being a family business means more to us than the family name.

It’s about the people who have grown with us, the colleagues who have spent many years of their careers with the Group, and recognising that behind every member of our team is a family and a life beyond work.

We’re proud of the relationships that have been built over the years and of the people and families who continue to be part of the Heathcote Holdings story.

This National Family Business Day, we’re celebrating not just where we came from, but the wider Heathcote Holdings family that has helped shape the business we are today.
