⚡ Smart Upgrade for an Existing Solar Customer ⚡
This week we installed a Sigenergy battery storage system for a customer whose solar PV system we originally installed a few years ago.
Their solar system has now fully paid for itself, so the next step was to maximise the benefit of the energy they generate.
By adding battery storage, the home can now:
🔋 Store excess solar energy instead of exporting it to the grid
🏡 Use that stored energy later in the evening when the sun goes down
💷 Increase self-consumption and reduce reliance on the energy supplier
Even better, Sigenergy also manufacture a clever backup unit. If there is a power cut, this allows your system to continue producing and supplying electricity to the property, meaning you can still use the energy generated by your solar panels when you need it.
