Throwback to this impressive County high-clearance conversion of the Massey Ferguson 65.

Built for working in the tropics, these specialist tractors were designed primarily for sugar-cane operations and marketed as Hi-Hi Clearance Tractors.

Around 200 examples were built between 1964 and 1971, making these a fascinating and relatively rare piece of agricultural engineering history.

A great example of County’s ability to transform standard tractors for highly specialised applications.

Since 1929, County has been supplying engineering solutions and components to Ford, starting with the iconic 6-wheel trucks modified by the Tapp brothers to give them greater capability and performance.

Nearly a century later, that spirit of innovation continues.

We were proud to support this incredible Ford Transit AWD build for the MAROC Challenge, helping add even more off-road capability before it tackled the demanding desert stages of Morocco. County Engineering contributed with transmission support expertise and diff lock installation, helping transform the Transit into a serious off-road contender.

The project is a fantastic example of how capable the Ford Transit platform can be when combined with the right engineering solutions and technical expertise.

A huge effort from everyone involved in the build, and we’re proud to have played our part in getting this Transit ready for Morocco.

Raised suspension, off‑road tyres and ready for anything. These units ended up working everywhere from Pakistan to the Falklands. A proper piece of Transit history.
