Since 1929, County has been supplying engineering solutions and components to Ford, starting with the iconic 6-wheel trucks modified by the Tapp brothers to give them greater capability and performance.

Nearly a century later, that spirit of innovation continues.

We were proud to support this incredible Ford Transit AWD build for the MAROC Challenge, helping add even more off-road capability before it tackled the demanding desert stages of Morocco. County Engineering contributed with transmission support expertise and diff lock installation, helping transform the Transit into a serious off-road contender.

The project is a fantastic example of how capable the Ford Transit platform can be when combined with the right engineering solutions and technical expertise.

A huge effort from everyone involved in the build, and we’re proud to have played our part in getting this Transit ready for Morocco.

We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be sponsoring a custom-built Ford Transit competing in the Morocco Desert Challenge 2026 🏜️

Not only that, we’ll also be engineering and manufacturing key components for the conversion, helping transform this Transit into a machine capable of taking on one of the toughest endurance rallies in the world.
