We had to do a bit of overdue maintenance to our own Leyland 472 this week. One of the things was light bulbs. It turns out that we do not have UK spec light bulbs in our tractor and we had forgotten as it has been so long since we changed them. So now we have put these bulbs on our website to remind us for next time!! (oh and for anybody non-UK who also has these bulbs fitted!! 😃)

A few Canadian customers have contacted us this week and asked if we will ship direct to Canada in light of recent political events and other factors, such as bad currency rates with the dollar. While we have always said that we will send customers in Canada to Northwoods Tractor we have spoken to them and agreed that we will service Canadian customers if they wish to deal with us direct.
Cynthia from Northwoods is still there if some customers prefer as her customer service is fantastic and she may be easier to speak to on the phone with the time zones. But now there are both options available.

A Leyland 253 Quadrant repair today.

We have a Marshall 802 wet brake gearbox and rear axle assembly.
The wet brakes seem to be fine. Th gearbox primary shaft does have some damage and the selectors are not in the top.
Does anybody have any interest in this as we are having a tidy up.
Has been dry stored (until this coming weekend!!!)
Ideal for anybody who is doing a wet brake conversion on a Leyland or Nuffield as the layshaft and wet brake pump are still in the box.

No warranty as such, but the video shows that we have tested it and it works.
The part number for this starter is BTJ3300. These are available new, but this is an original Lucas starter.
