Big cooling system upgrade completed for this customer ❄️🙌

We installed 2 new compressor units along with new fridge lines, ice water pipework and relocated existing equipment to suit the customer’s new setup.

The system now runs ice water through the plate cooler, helping milk enter the silo at a much lower temperature while improving overall cooling efficiency ⚡

We also:
🔧 Relocated the existing heat recovery system onto the new units
🔧 Moved the silo and existing fridge units
🔧 Installed a new Allflex drafting gate
🔧 Connected borehole water to the plate cooler
🔧 Installed custom drip trays and drains to protect the loft floor
🔧 Reconfigured existing services to keep everything working seamlessly

A big project with plenty of planning, pipework and fabrication involved, all focused on efficiency, reliability and energy saving 👏

☀️ HOT WEATHER IS ON THE WAY…

Which means your parlour, cooling system and compressors are about to work a lot harder ☀️

During warmer weather, we often start seeing issues caused by:

This is costing you. Every milking… 👇

And most of the time, it’s not obvious.

We’re seeing a lot of plate coolers at the minute that look fine… but aren’t actually doing the job properly.

Here’s a few signs to look out for:

• Milk hitting the tank warmer than it should
• Tank taking longer to pull temperature down
• Compressors running more than usual
• Little to no temperature drop across the plate cooler
• Energy usage creeping up for no clear reason

The thing is, most of these aren’t major faults.
Blocked plates, poor water flow, or setup issues can all reduce performance.

Small issue… but over time, it adds up.
