Happy 2026! Hope everyone has had a good new year.

I am currently working with AM Transport since closing the main premises after my mental health took a bit of a bashing.

However I am looking to start up by doing some very small mechanical repairs and diagnostics during the day.

So if anyone is needing brakes, oil changes, battery replacement etc then please do get in touch.

Just looking to do a couple jobs a week for now and obviously being mobile there will be limitations on what jobs can be done.

Since we no longer have the premises, and finding a new one is looking quite unlikely for now, I am looking at starting a Mobile Tyre Van.

Is this service people would find useful?

Tyre fitting at your home or work place without the inconvenience of dropping g and collecting your vehicle.

I always like to think of Pier Garage as a community garage, and Tosh was definitely part of the community. Not just a customer but a friend to me and my Dad.

The last time I saw him was in the riverside, in fact it was rare to go in the riverside and not see him. He gave my two boys a pound each for some sweets as he always did and we had a quick bleather.

Economy Tuning

Increasingly popular with rising fuel prices, we are able to re-calibrate the ECU data to improve fuel efficiency. The increase in torque will allow less gear changes and accelerator pedal movement thus resulting in improved MPG and driveability. Economy Tuning is for Turbo Diesel vehicles only.
