The buzz of our first Electrical Contractors Event.

Following the success of our previous Consultant and Design Team events, last month we brought contractors to Shenton House for the first time.

And what a day it was. Full of hands-on learning, live demos, and real conversations around backup power systems.

The rain even held off long enough for an outside BBQ lunch!

From generator load testing to UPS synchronisation, the focus was on giving contractors practical insights they can take straight to site.

And yes, the basketball shootout game got just as competitive as expected! 😉

We’ve delivered two high‑capacity Perkins‑powered standby generator sets, 2,500 kVA and 1,500 kVA, to support critical resilient power at the Envision AESC Gigafactory in Sunderland.

The site is the largest operational battery manufacturing facility in the UK and powers over 200,000 EVs each year, highlighting the scale and importance of this installation.

The project also included 85 dB @ 1 m bespoke acoustic enclosures and 52 motorised 100 Amp ATS units, ensuring reliable and efficient power transfer across this major automotive supply chain site.

A fantastic project showcasing our capability in delivering large‑scale, complex standby power solutions for high‑demand environments.
