🎉Apprentice Achievement at Collis Engineering Ltd 🎉

We’re proud to celebrate a fantastic milestone for four of our apprentices at Collis Engineering Ltd, who have all successfully passed their Level 3 Apprenticeships 👏

Collis Civil Engineering is looking for experienced Civil Engineering Operatives to support railway infrastructure projects across the UK. We specialise in high-quality structural steel solutions for the rail industry, including bridges, gantries, and infrastructure support — with safety, precision, and reliability at the heart of everything we do.

🔧 The Role
You’ll support a range of railway civil engineering works, offered initially on a zero-hours contract, giving flexibility and exposure to varied rail projects as required.

✅ Key Responsibilities
• Civil engineering works including groundworks, gantry installations, and structural tasks
• Working in line with all railway safety standards and site procedures
• Supporting site teams to deliver works on time and to specification
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

👷 Requirements
• Proven experience in civil engineering within the railway sector
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) – highly desirable
• Strong understanding of railway safety standards
• Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player
• Full UK driving licence

🚨 We’re Hiring – QESH Compliance Administrator (Part-Time) 🚨

Are you detail-driven, organised, and passionate about quality, safety, and compliance?
We’re looking for a QESH (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) Compliance Administrator to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis (2–3 days per week).

✨ What you’ll do:
✅ Keep our QESH records and compliance databases up to date
✅ Support internal & external audits
✅ Record incidents, non-conformities, and corrective actions
✅ Prepare QA documentation & client-ready reports
✅ Help deliver training, toolbox talks & communications
✅ Create newsletters, posters & updates to engage our teams

💡 What we’re looking for:
• Strong admin skills (NVQ Level 2 or similar an advantage)
• Confident using Microsoft Office
• Organised, detail-focused & proactive
• Great communication skills
• QESH/compliance background (desirable, not essential)

📅 Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:00, Fri 07:00–14:00
