We recently attended this Combilift Straddle Carrier to conduct a complete wire re-rope due to deterioration/ service life expiration. All conducted on the customers site keeping downtime to a minimum. It is important to keep wire ropes in good order as although they can look ok externally, internally dangerous corrosion of the wire cores could be occurring.

Today we attended a forklift for a service and test, whilst on site we found the battery had some deteriorated links and bolts, these were replaced from van stock,the battery was also cleaned before forklift returned to service all in a single visit, reducing downtime and preventing a breakdown.
