🏗️ A new arrival at Zeus Engineering!

Today, our Mazak i-700 was lifted into Workshop Two, where it will operate alongside our existing Mazak i-600.

The space became available following the removal of our long-serving DahLih MCV 2100 VMC, allowing us to introduce additional machining capability into the workshop.

Here is a quick look at today’s lift. Stay tuned for a closer, machine-focused video once the i-700 is fully positioned, cleaned up and ready for action! ⚙️

We were delighted to receive this certificate from Taylor High School in recognition of our support for their metalwork department, just as they finished for the summer holidays ☀️

Supporting practical, hands-on learning is something we’re very passionate about, and it’s great to play a small part in helping students develop real engineering skills for the future ⚙️🔩

Today, on International Women in Engineering Day 2026, we are proud to see Laura Boland, our Group Finance & HR Manager, attending the Scottish Engineering- International Women in Engineering Day 2026 Event.

Laura has been part of the AGZ Group journey since 2014, and in 2026 we are delighted to welcome her as a direct AGZ Group employee — a significant step that reflects what has long been true: she has been a valued member of our team for many years.

Laura is one of a small number of group employees and is a key part of our organisation. Her contribution across the business is hugely appreciated, and she is always a pleasure to work alongside.

On a day that celebrates the achievements and future of women in engineering, we are delighted to recognise Laura’s ongoing commitment to AGZ Group and her support for our sector.

This week is a special one at Zeus Engineering as we mark John Cosgrove’s final working week before retirement.

To celebrate, the team took some time out today to enjoy lunch together in the boardroom, share a few stories, and reflect on John’s time with the company!

It was great to see everyone together and to give John the send-off he deserves. He has been a valued member of the Zeus team and will be missed by us all 🤝

A busy week at Zeus: an 8.4m pipe delivered, cut in-house, and kept moving to support the customer’s required lead time.

We managed to catch the photos while the Scottish sunshine was out yesterday ☀️ — with the rain due to arrive just in time for the weekend, of course. 🌧️
Next, the pipe will be cut to specific length's, machined and coated to the customer’s specification. ⚙️
Another great example of the work going on at Zeus and the team’s flexibility to keep projects moving.
