I am notoriously bad at placing regular posts of my work, however I thought it necessary to share a happy customer’s Google review: A burned out 1970’s (probably) fluorescent desk lamp. I decided to convert it to LED to future proof it as fluorescent tubes and control gear are no longer being made or allowed to be imported into the UK, my customer fully agreed too. The lamp lives again and should give many years of faithful service.

Faulty touch lamp?

If your touch lamp has failed and will no longer turn on or off, I can offer an economical repair to save it from being scrapped. It can be converted to switch on/off as a traditional table lamp of have a replacement touch sensor model fitted to return it to full operation at a very reasonable cost. All repairs come with a free Portable Appliance Test (PAT Test) for your safety and peace of mind.

A small donation from Jeremy’s Repairs to the Ukraine refugee crisis appeal. LED torches and spare batteries dropped off this morning at Hays Travel (Tesco Norwich).

A big thank you to all at Hays Travel Norwich Tesco for organising the collecting and distribution.

I would also like to say a very big thank you to local electrical wholesaler, M D Thompson for their generous pricing of these items.

I appreciate it is only a drop in the ocean, but every little really does help.

Now in stock: CE certified “1 into 2” switches in black and white. Not generally available in the UK! I have used these excellent quality switches previously to replace a broken one on a 1970’s twin headed floor lamp thus maintaining the individual switch-ability of the fitting.
