Meet Chloé Gribble, our UK Business Development Coordinator, a brilliant example of a woman who challenges expectations, breaks barriers, and leads by example, as a confident and influential voice within our UK Business Development team.
Attending Northfield Academy and studying NC Level 5 Business Studies at Aberdeen College, Chloe quickly built momentum in her career. By 21, she had progressed to an Operations Coordinator role in construction and, a year later, began studying Business Management part-time with The Open University.
Becoming a mum at 24 marked a new and rewarding chapter, but it never slowed her drive. After gaining experience across commercial and subsea roles in offshore energy, she joined Altrad Sparrows as a Business Development Coordinator. Within a year, she secured company sponsorship to complete the final stage of her degree. Now at 32, she is submitting her final assignment - proof that perseverance pays off.
In her dynamic role, Chloe supports senior leadership reporting, proposal development, budgeting and pipeline tracking, represents the business at client events, and is currently leading sales engagement for our training centre. As the only woman in the UK Business Development team, she champions greater female representation and confidently encourages others to “speak up and be heard.”
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, Give to Gain, perfectly reflects her journey. She said, “The flexibility and support I have received as a full-time working mum, alongside sponsorship for my degree, has given me the confidence to thrive. In return, I mentor apprentices, support colleagues and champion others’ success.”
Following International Women’s Day, let’s continue to celebrate women like Chloe who show that when we support, uplift and invest in each other, we all rise.
