We are looking for SSEN-authorised Cable Jointers with expertise in LV, 11kV, and 33kV distribution networks. If you have a background in utilities Cable Jointing and seek to join a company that promotes career progression, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Authorisation from other DNOs/IDNOs will also be considered.

As an Authorised Cable Jointer, you will install cable jointing and deliver a flexible and rapid response service to various utility and private clients.

We are currently seeking to recruit electricians for the role of Jointers Mate. This position is ideally suited for individuals with a background in electrical work who are eager to develop their skills and pursue a career as a cable jointer.

The successful candidates will have a fervent passion for learning new skills, with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team are essential qualities for this role. Some experience with high voltage (HV) systems would be advantageous.

As a Jointers Mate, you will be required to assist in the installation of electrical equipment at various sites throughout the UK. Therefore, at least 2 years of electrical site experience and a full driving licence are mandatory.
