* Salary up to £40,000

* either time on/ time off rota or mon-Fri with weekend overtime available

Last night we had a great evening celebrating the festive period with the AMS team.

It was a chance to step back from the day to day, spend time together, and recognise the commitment, professionalism, and teamwork shown across the business throughout the year. And also a recognition to the rest of the team that missed out and continued to support our operations 24/7 locally and internationally!

None of what we achieve is possible without the great people behind it.

Honouring a Legacy – JJR Macleod Memorial

We are proud to share the installation of a new brass plaque at the JJR Macleod Memorial in Aberdeen’s Duthie Park, recognising John Otto and Kimberlie Hamilton’s support for the Society’s ongoing work to celebrate one of Scotland’s greatest scientific pioneers.

Professor JJR Macleod, co-discoverer of insulin and Nobel Laureate, was born and educated in Aberdeen. His leadership and vision helped transform a failed laboratory experiment into a medical breakthrough that went on to save millions of lives around the world.

It is a privilege for AMS Global Group to contribute to preserving his remarkable legacy, not only as part of Aberdeen’s history but as a reminder of how innovation, collaboration and integrity can change the world for the better.

A huge thank you to the JJR Macleod Memorial Statue Society for their dedication in ensuring his story continues to inspire future generations.

AMS Global Group holds first Advisory Board meeting at Pittodrie

Aberdeen firm signals intent with senior industry appointments and structured governance plan

AMS Global Group has convened its inaugural Advisory Board meeting at Pittodrie Stadium, underlining the company’s ambition to strengthen corporate governance and drive sustainable growth across its international operations.

The meeting, held on 22 July at Aberdeen Football Club’s iconic ground, brought together a group of respected industry figures with deep expertise in leadership, business growth, and organisational development. The creation of the Advisory Board is seen as a key step in supporting AMS’s executive team as it scales its marine and safety services globally.

The newly formed Advisory Board comprises:

Graeme Bell, Founder, Bell & Associates
Graeme Wood, Executive Chairman, SEO
Jonathan Smith, Chair of various charitable organisations and Business Facilitator, The Alternative Board (TAB)


They will work alongside AMS’s senior leadership team, which includes:

Neil Carr, Managing Director at AMS Global Group, said the board would play an important role in shaping the future of the company.
