COMPANY NEWS: Oilenco has appointed a new managing director and strengthened our team with promotions and new roles.

After joining the company in 2017, Blair McCombie has been appointed the company's new managing director to lead overall performance and future direction.

Warren Ackroyd remains as company owner, but moves to the position of technical director to create a strategic focus on driving innovation and enhancing product portfolio.

And to strengthen our regional growth, Davie Nicoll has been promoted to the role of business director for Africa.

Davie joins Graham Masson who joined the Oilenco team in May as business director for UK and Europe and Kim Ackroyd who remains in her role as finance director.

We would like to introduce our latest recruit, Dylan McIntyre, who recently joined us as a Trainee Design Engineer.

Whilst working full time as a key member of our design team, this week, Dylan embarked on his Graduate Apprenticeship in BEng (Hons) Engineering: Design and Manufacture with Robert Gordon University.

We are delighted to welcome Dylan to the team and wish him the best of luck with his studies.

Ramsay Forbes joins our company as workshop technician having spent almost 6 years in the Royal Navy as a lead maintenance engineering technician.

Our newest recruit in Norway, Joakim Grønnestad, Junior Workshop Technician, has been across in the UK at the Oilenco head office this week for his first installment of hands-on training.

Oilenco are committed to supporting and helping employees reach their full potential through development and training. Congratulations to Lysebotn Discgolf on the grand opening of their fantastic new course, which took place on Sunday 5th June at Lysebotn, Rogaland, Norway.

200 disc golfers enjoyed a day of superb weather and spectacular views whilst making their way round the course. As sponsors of hole number 5, Oilenco Norge were out in style.
